With the addition of SSC Minneapolis City, the Premier League of America has wrapped up its expansion for 2016, growing from five clubs in its first year to 11 for the upcoming season.

As part of the league’s growth, the PLA will group its teams in two divisions. Each club will play all of the opposing squads in its division for a home-and-away series during the 2016 season. The West Division, which is made up of five teams, will play eight league games. The East Division, which has six clubs, will play 10 PLA contests during the regular season.

At the end of the season, the PLA will host its championship tournament at a neutral site which will be announced along with the league schedule on January 26. The top two teams in each division will play for the league title while the rest of our membership will play in a consolation bracket.

The PLA Tournament will be held over two days on July 30-31, 2016.
