2017 Friendly Schedule

Carpathia FC will participate in four scrimmage games this upcoming pre-season. First CFC will take on Marygrove College at Lawrence Tech University, in an hour long tournament game. Right after the conclusion of that game, CFC will then take on tournament hosts Lawrence Tech for Carpathia’s second and final game of the day. Assistant coach Marcel Schmid said “I think this tournament will be a great opportunity for us to see the new players and test some new formations we have been able to set on the training grounds. We will be bringing mostly new players as we look to get a better idea of what we have playing against two competitive teams”.

The following week will be another challenging test as CFC travels to Hollway Field  to take on AFC Ann Arbor for their home opener. The game will begin at 4:00 PM and should have a large attendance. Head Coach Bruce Wilden stated “The AFC Ann Arbor organization does a great job on putting on a professional atmosphere and producing a quality team each game they play. We look forward to this game as we both look to get better and get into season form. This game will be fast and fun to watch. We are looking forward to the opportunity”.

The final pre-season game will be another test just one week before CFC hosts Muskegon for their opening game of the 2017 PLA season. Carpathia will travel to Hurley Field to take on Michigan Stars. ” With only one week left before our season begins, we wanted to test the boys and make sure they are mentally and physically prepared. The stars are a quality team and will certainly test us” stated assistant coach Marcel Schmid.
