Carpathia FC is proud to announce our first Meet and Greet. This event will provide a great experience for both players and fans. In our first inaugural season in the Premier League Of America, we have some exciting news and important topics to cover. This event will allow us to cover these topics, share the exciting news, unveil the 2016 jerseys ,meet the players, meet our coaching staff and hear a few brief words from club president, Keith McVettie. “The meet and greet Friday is something I am looking forward too.It will give us a great opportunity to connect with our club and community. It has been a very tedious few months and we are eagerly waiting for the season to start. The boys have been working hard and have our minds set towards May 14th” stated Head Coach Bruce Wilden.
We had the chance to get a few words from assistant coach Mike Dolan. Here’s what Mike had to say “Friday night officially kicks off a very anticipated season for the Carpathia Men’s soccer program. With such a rich soccer tradition, the Carpathia Men’s Soccer team needed something significant to continue making a mark in the local amateur soccer scene. I feel moving our 1st team into the Premier League of America is that significant “first step”. We have always tried to create a professional atmosphere with our men’s teams, but this is a whole new level.I feel that both on and off the field, we have assembled an outstanding team that is more than ready for the next level. This new undertaking is something I think we can all be proud of, from former players and coaches, to the “old timers” who are still following the boys wherever and whenever they play. I look forward to a great evening this Friday presenting the 2016 Carpathia FC team to the rest of our club, our friends, and the rest of the local soccer community.”
Carpathia FC’s first game will be Saturday May14th,6:00 PM in Chicago Vs.RWB Adria. The following weekend, May 21st, Carpathia FC will host its first home game vs Aurora Borealis at 4:00 PM, played at L’Anse Creuse North High School.
The meet and greet will take place at the Carpathia Club located on 38000 Utica Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Start time will be at 7:00Pm and h’ordeuvres will be served along with a cash bar. Scarves and merchandise will also be available for purchase.
